Boroughmuir High To Be Re-Developed

Boroughmuir High School is to receive support for its re-development through the Government's Schools for the Future programme.

City Education Leader Cllr Marilyne MacLaren said: "I'm thrilled that this major investment has been confirmed - it's a lovely Christmas present for Boroughmuir. We've been trying for so many years to secure the development of the school which is in a dilapidated state.

"We have a major ongoing programme of new school building and improvement work across the city and this is a fantastic addition.

"I've asked officers to explore all possible options for the school and I look forward to being able to make an announcement about the next steps soon."
