New Inverness Office For Morgan Sindall

Morgan Sindall has expanded its operations in the North of Scotland with the opening of an Inverness office serving the Highlands.

The new premises in North Inverness, will be the expanding company’s fourth Scottish office. It follows the opening of an Edinburgh base last year.

Morgan Sindall has recruited a well established and experienced local team under new area director Neil Duncan.

Neil will be supported by a senior management team of nine construction professionals, all who have worked together before and know the Inverness area.

“Our Scottish construction, infrastructure and design business has grown significantly over the past 12 months,” said Harry Thorburn, Morgan Sindall managing director for Scotland. “The new Inverness office strengthens our presence in the North and gives us the capability to deliver a wide range of projects from £50,000 to over £500 million right across Scotland. We are very fortunate to have a highly talented management team under Neil Duncan which brings an in-depth knowledge of the Highlands area to the business and excellent customer-focussed approach.”

Both Morgan Sindall’s construction and infrastructure services will be carried out by the company’s North office in Inverness.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity of bringing such a major player in the construction industry into the Highlands,” said Morgan Sindall’s new area director, Neil Duncan. “I have no doubt the assembled team will provide an excellent construction and civil engineering service to our customers with the unrivalled financial support of Morgan Sindall plc, one of the UK’s top construction companies.”

In Scotland, Morgan Sindall is currently involved in the redevelopment of HMP Perth for the Scottish Prison Service (SPS) and the construction of the new £95.4 million Tayside Acute Adult Mental Health Developments scheme. The company is a delivery partner in North Lanarkshire Council’s £300 million Schools and Centres 21 construction framework and South Lanarkshire’s £319 million secondary schools modernisation programme. Morgan Sindall which recently built the Upper Forth Crossing at Kincardine (Clackmannanshire Bridge) with VINCI Construction Grands Projets, is also carrying out Scotland’s largest road infrastructure project, the £111 million construction of a new eight-kilometre, six-lane stretch of the M74 south of Glasgow as part of the £445 million joint venture M74 Completion Project.
