North east architects and builders of the future have had their imaginations fuelled thanks to Deveron Homes.

As part of their ongoing community work, Huntly-based Deveron Homes welcomed P2/3 from Boddam Primary School to their Kinmundy Heights development at Peterhead where the children were able to find out more about “Houses & Homes” as part of a class project.


As well as learning all about the houses themselves with sales director Lynne Holburn, the youngsters were also able to get hands-on and create miniature houses using special construction sets.

Boddam Primary School teacher Pamela Dickie said: “The children have been finding out about the materials that are used to build their houses. They have really enjoyed the experience of visiting a newly built home and learning more about how homes are built first hand."

Lynne Holburn added: “Helping children to learn about homes and how they are made is always a fun and rewarding thing to do and it is something we try to do as frequently as possible to ensure that young people get involved in our projects as part of their education.”
