The Anderson Construction Project at North Deeside Road, Cults, Aberdeen, to construct a three storey retail and office development on a brownfield site, completed in November 2009, has been recognised with an Award by the city's Civic Society.
The Award celebrates the traditional design and use of granite and slates to compliment the traditional Cults High Street.
Kenny Anderson commented: "We are pleased to receive this recognition of what was a difficult and complex project and gives everyone at Anderson Construction who was involved in the project a boost, not least Duncan Thomson the Site Manager who wrestled with some of the construction issues caused by the proximity of the A93, a busy arterial route into the City and the fact the site was landlocked."
The award was presented at the Town & County Hall, The Town House, Aberdeen, at a ceremony on 20th October 2010.
