Galliford Try is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Keith to the position of Managing Director of its building business in Scotland, Morrison Construction, having previously held the position of General Manager.

Aged 51, Mike joined Morrison Construction in 1990 and has held a number of senior management positions both in Scotland and previously across the UK. Mike was appointed to the Building Division UK board in July 2009.

Mike reports directly to new Managing Director of Building, James Armitage.

Said Ken Gillespie, Group Managing Director Construction: “Mike has a central role in developing Morrison Construction’s building business in Scotland and is ideally placed to lead the business forward in its next phase of development. I have no doubt that the business and its employees will continue to flourish under Mike’s leadership.”

Morrison Construction operates from five regional offices (Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Grangemouth and Edinburgh) and employs more than 650 staff in Scotland.
