Port of Leith Housing Association (PoLHA) has appointed MITIE Property Services (UK) Ltd as the contractor for its 2010 Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS) work.
MITIE was awarded the six-month contract, due to go on-site on October 4, after a careful tendering and selection process by PoLHA.
Over 150 of the Association’s properties will be improved in the £1.2m contract.
Keith Anderson, Chief Executive at PoLHA, said: "We were very happy with MITIE's proposals and look forward to embarking on this year’s SHQS programme of improvement works to raise the quality of our properties for our tenants."
Earlier this year, MITIE was awarded the contract for the Association's cyclical works.
