The privately held Ingenium Group announced today that it has purchased the majority of the UK business and assets from the administrators of Archial Group PLC, Archial Holdings Ltd, Archial Architects Ltd, Archial Resources Ltd and Alsop Sparch Ltd.
One of the UK’s leading practices, Archial is an international architectural specialist with public and private-sector clients. Its diverse international portfolio includes work in corporate, education, government, healthcare, industrial, mixed-use, residential, retail and transport sectors and it employs approximately 300 employees in offices throughout England and Scotland.
“The purchase of Archial is in line with our corporate strategy of focused and measured expansion around the globe,” said Victor Smith, President and CEO, the Ingenium Group. “We have been seeking a UK company to form the regional base for our international work and are delighted that Archial will serve to realise that goal for our company.”
The newly acquired organisation has been registered as Ingenium Archial Ltd. and will operate under the name of Archial and Alsop Sparch. Christopher Littlemore will continue as CEO and Victor Smith will take on the role of Executive Chairman.
“We believe that this transaction promises a bright future,” stated Christopher Littlemore, CEO of Archial. “By combining forces with the Ingenium Group, we join a global company that shares our passion and expertise in both design and project management.”
Internationally, the award winning Archial organisation has been known for delivering intelligent solutions that combine creative excellence with commercial success.
