Law firm McGrigors and property consultants Ryden have announced that Angus Donaldson, Director of Estates at the University of Aberdeen, will be the guest speaker at their fourth Young Professionals in Property event, taking place this month.
Angus will present on a variety of property and estate management matters, focusing on planning, development and conservation issues, across the University Estate which includes campuses at Kings College, Foresterhill and Bucksburn.
Rhona McFarlane, senior solicitor with McGrigors’ Real Estate team, said: “The University Estate is very large, complex and diverse. It is home to both a number of Aberdeen's most predominant historic landmark buildings and to a range of modern and advanced teaching and research facilities so we are delighted to be joined by Angus and very interested to hear his perspective on developing within such a unique land holding.”
Jade Scott, Planning Consultant at Ryden, added: “This event provides a fantastic opportunity for networking with likeminded peers and to hear a leader within the property industry share his experiences and knowledge. I’m certain that it will be another successful event with a high turnout."
The free event, which is open to solicitors, surveyors, architects, bankers, planners, land buyers and other allied professionals, will take place at the Aberdeen Art Gallery, Schoolhill, on September 23. If you would like to attend, please register in advance with Sabrina Larg at McGrigors by emailing sabrina.larg@mcgrigors.com
