Aiken Group Announces Key Appointments

Aberdeen-based Aiken Group has announced the addition of four key members of staff to the growing team.

The oil and gas firm is a leading and innovative supplier of integrated, solutions-based engineering and a specialist service provider. Aiken Group provides clients with “a one stop shop” service across a wide range of disciplines.

The expected annual turnover of £10 million previously announced earlier this year was exceeded.

Disciplines include project management, accommodation upgrades and new builds, modular units, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration, plumbing, maintenance services and facilities management. Aiken Group provides these services to both offshore and onshore clients across the UK and global markets.

David Mair has joined the company in the role of business development manager after recently returning from work in the Middle East while Alexander Reah has been taken on as projects manager to look after all onshore and offshore projects.

Paul McAnespie has been appointed electrical and instrumentation engineer and brings more than three decades of experience to Aiken Group whilst Samantha Black has taken up the newly-created role of project administrator to provide back-up and support to the company’s team of project engineers.

Commenting on the appointments, Aiken Group managing director Danny Donald said: “Our team is an excellent mix of young, fresh talent and employees with many years of experience in their field and these latest appointments very much underline that ethos.

“The experience, knowledge, contacts and energy that these individuals bring to the company will undoubtedly play a key role in consolidating Aiken Group’s position as a leading multi-disciplined service provider in the UK and international marketplaces.”
