Aberdeen office fit-out specialists Accommodation Services Management (ASM) have been named as finalists in a prestigious business award.

The Bridge of Don-based company has been short-listed in the socially responsible company in the 2010 Northern Star Business Awards.

Now in their seventh year, the Northern Star Business Awards are the flagship event of Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce and the winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony in the city in September.


ASM has an enviable track record in the awards, having been winners of the best small business accolade in 2009 and highly commended in the socially responsible category in the same year. ASM were also finalists in the 2005 Northern Star Business Awards.

Commenting on this year’s nomination, ASM managing director Frank Maughan said: "Our track record regarding social responsibility is excellent and community support in its various forms features high on our agenda.

"I am, of course, delighted that ASM is receiving this recognition again and I’m sure all our colleagues will share that sentiment."
