Ashoka at The Mill, a popular restaurant in Darnley, has opened an extensive hidden beer terrace overlooking the fast flowing Brock Burn.
The terrace gives up to 40 diners an opportunity to soak up the summer sun or seek the shade beneath an umbrella on a new terrace to the rear of the recently refreshed Mill.
The Mill’s new manager, Asha Bains Majhu, said: “Whilst we’re conveniently located at the busy junction on Corselet Road, the situation of our hidden beer garden, to the rear of the building overlooking the burn and over to the countryside, lends an appealing air of rural tranquillity to our dining experience that is proving itself to be a very popular attraction.”
The hidden beer terrace is the latest in a series of changes Ms Bains Majhu has introduced to The Mill over recent weeks following a comprehensive makeover.
