The £420,000 project to improve facilities at Arbroath Bus Station is now well underway.
The work is being carried out in phases to minimise disruption with the first phase – a new pedestrian entrance to the bus station from Burnside Drive – now completed.
Other completed works include new door frames, window frames and glazing in the new café and waiting room area, both of which are being upgraded and enlarged.
The new entrance roof for the Stagecoach offices is almost completed and half the new roof structure is now in place.
Motorists are reminded that there is no car parking or drop off on the site during the works.
The project is expected to be completed by September.
