A 50m synthetic pitch surface is to be installed at Brechin Leisure Centre in response to requests from the local community.
The new all weather surface will cost £41,108 and will be funded from the common good.
It will be managed by Angus Council, with bookings available through the leisure centre.

Work is expected to start on the pitch at the end of this month, with completion mid-July.
Angus Council's Convener of Neighbourhood Services, Jim Millar, said: “I am pleased we have been able to work with the local community to provide this new all-weather facility which will enhance the existing facilities available in Brechin, and encourage people to take part in activities which will benefit their health and wellbeing.”
