Zenith recently presented a technical paper at the semi-annual CICIND meeting held in Barcelona, Spain.

The Midlothian based firm specialises in providing solutions to complex issues on flare stacks and industrial chimneys throughout the world.

Darren Smith, Business Development Director, said: "The paper focused on a repair to a demountable elevated flare stack. One of the flare tips was in a very poor condition and required replacing, however, the safety of our on-site personnel required Zenith's Structural Engineers to design a retractable protection shield at ground level as the flare tip was lowered to grade.
