Survey works on the A95 between Graich and Craggan have started this week.
Transport Scotland has commissioned the surveys as part of preliminary design works for their proposed trunk road improvement scheme on the route. Environmental specialists will undertake the work, which involves site surveys in the vicinity of the A95, during this summer.
The proposed scheme will improve the road alignment and safety for A95 road users.
These preliminary surveys are to assist with future preparations for draft statutory procedures, allowing for the trunk road scheme to be considered as part of the next spending review period, subject to competing priorities and available funding.
