Work on the extension to the Dumyat Centre is complete.
The £200,000 extension will provide a real improvement to the facilities in Menstrie. The work was carried out by local company Marshall Construction and has been finished on time.
The extension has been designed in consultation with the facility's users and local residents and will provide more appropriate community facilities over and above the already well used and popular sporting facilities at the centre.
Councillor Eddie Carrick, Portfolio Holder for Sustainability, said: "I am delighted that the extension to the Dumyat Centre is complete. This is fantastic news for local people. The improvement this will bring to the centre will ensure that this building remains at the heart of community activities in Menstrie."
