Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has appointed Alastair Blyth as head of project consultancy in its Edinburgh commercial property office.
Having started his career as a Chartered Surveyor, Mr Blyth, who has over 20 years experience in the residential and commercial property sectors, has previously been a Director of AWG Residential where he was involved in funding residential projects throughout Scotland and North East and North West of England. He also worked at CALA Finance, the development funding division of CALA Group.

Welcoming Mr Blyth to Shepherd, Ian Hannon, managing partner, said: “I am delighted Alastair is joining our expanding practice. His wide experience and knowledge of the residential and funding markets will enhance the services available within the practice.”
Mr Blyth said: “I’m very pleased to be joining Shepherd at a time of renewed confidence in Edinburgh’s property sector and look forward to bringing my experience in housing and development finance projects to bear on behalf of the practice.”
