Excavator-mounted crushing and screening bucket specialist Dig A Crusher has appointed Brian McGrane as its new regional sales manager for Scotland.

Based in Scotland's central belt between Glasgow and Edinburgh, McGrane brings with him considerable experience and knowledge of the Scottish mobile plant and equipment sector, and joins at an exciting time for both the Scottish market and for Dig A Crusher.

"It has been tough in Scotland but there are signs that things are starting to improve,” McGrane said. 'The Scotplant exhibition will be a huge show for us as it comes at a time when the industry is starting to look more positive."

Dig A Crusher managing director Sean Heron is similarly optimistic about McGrane's appointment. "The Scottish plant sector has been a key market for us for a number of years, and our products are used by Scottish customers across a broad range of industry sectors including construction, plant hire, demolition and recycling, quarrying, waste management and forestry," Sean Heron concluded. "The appointment of someone like Brian with his in-depth knowledge of the local market can only strengthen our presence in this important region, and we’re looking forward to making even greater inroads via the Scotplant exhibition."
