One of Scotland's leading providers of storage and interiors solutions, ESE, has expanded into the North-east of England and opened a new office in Newcastle.
The company is predicting that the region will generate in excess of £500,000 of sales within the year resulting in several new jobs being created as the business expands.
Robert Kennedy director of ESE said: "The North-east of England has been a bit of a hot-spot for activity recently and although we have previously dealt with the work via our head-office in Livingston, it was important for us to have a presence on the ground.
"Expanding the business geographically is very much a natural progression for us having built up a strong position across Scotland. Several contracts have already been secured and we are confident that there is a gap in the market for a supplier such as ourselves to thrive."
ESE has appointed Richard Elphee as key account manager for the region supported by the team at the company’s headquarters in Livingston. With 16 years experience in the industrial catalogue and storage industry, Mr Elphee will manage a portfolio of key account customers and assume responsibility for the development and profitability of the area.
Mr Kennedy continued: "Richard brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and contacts and will support the growth of the Dexion storage equipment brand that that ESE sells as well as our portfolio of industrial and commercial goods."
The CSI Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of storage and handling solutions, specialising in interior fit outs for commercial and industrial buildings, and consists of: Aberdeen-based Modul8, ESE Integrated Storage and Interiors operating from Livingston, Glasgow, Dundee and Newcastle, CSI-products.co.uk and Green Racking. The Group employs approximately 65 staff.
