The Scottish Construction Centre has announced its support for the re-establishment of the Tayside Construction Forum (TCF).
With the aim of promoting membership of the TCF, and to ensure that it reflects the needs of the industry in the region, three development events are to be held in Arbroath, Dundee and Perth involving senior members of the construction industry.
The first of these is being hosted by Angus College on 24 February as part of their open day and will be repeated in Dundee and Perth within the coming weeks.
Ken Laing, Director of Contract Services at Dundee City Council and chairman of the TCF
steering group will outline the objectives of the Forum and invite suggestions on what issues the industry would like the Forum to prioritise.
The promotion and consultation process from these three events will assist in finalising the
aims and objectives for the Forum which will be presented at a major launch.
