Abercrombie Court Gets New Tenant

It's smiles all round as dentist Norbert Neubauer gets ready to welcome the first patients at his new Aberdeen practice.

Abercrombie Dental Practice is the latest tenant to move in to Gladman Developments' Abercrombie Court in Westhill.

The dental business has taken possession of Unit 8 on a lease hold in a deal brokered by FG Burnett and James Barr. In a separate deal, the investment at Unit 8 has been sold for an undisclosed sum by a private investor, advised by Ryden.

Mr Neubauer said: "Gladman's units at Abercrombie Court provided very flexible open plan space which was easily adapted for our use as a dental practice. The ability of Gladman to undertake our specialist fit-out work was also extremely helpful."

Greg Limb, of Gladman Developments, said: "We are delighted to welcome the Abercrombie Court Dental Practice as tenants which we believe demonstrates the flexible nature of our buildings. It is also a very useful ancillary use for Abercrombie Court and the wider Westhill Community."

Also at Abercrombie Court, the first floor Unit 2, comprising 1190 sq ft, has been sold to international shipbroker Derrick Offshore.

FG Burnett revealed the sale of Unit 8 was the sixth investment sale at the popular Westhill location in the last 12 months.

FG Burnett director, David MacLeod, said: "Lease lengths on the investments have ranged from three to 10 years to a variety of clients in sectors including subsea consultancy, offshore communications, medical and drilling.

"This demonstrates Abercrombie Court is satisfying the needs of private investors looking for short, medium and long term income. Private investors continue to look for good quality stock and with re-letting prospects being a fundamental consideration for them, Abercrombie Court is proving to be a powerful proposition."

Abercrombie Court is located at Arnhall Business Park and comprises of 78,500 sq ft of purpose-built, high specification office space in a range of units, including 1027 sq ft, 2212 sq ft and 5203 sq ft, as well as a headquarters building of 25,500 sq ft, ensuring the development can cater for all sizes and types of organisation.

Arnhall Business Park is now firmly established as one of the fastest growing business parks in Scotland and is headquarters for leading oil and gas sector companies Acergy, Subsea 7 and the Abu Dhabi National Energy Corporation (TAQA). Other occupiers at the park include Northern Offshore, NCS Survey, Kongsberg Maritime, Anixter, Abermed, Rignet and G5 Technologies.
