The final phase of the Cliffburn regeneration project in Arbroath is set to begin.
The long-standing project set out to demolish the hard-to-let flats in Mayfield Terrace, re-roof the privately-owned shop units, and carry out other improvements to the surroundings of these properties, and to form an improved commercial hub and gateway project for the residents of this area of Arbroath.
Preliminary site work begins on Monday 25 January prior to the demolition of flats above the shops in Mayfield Terrace and replacement of the roof.
Work is expected to take 18 weeks, during which time the shops will be open for business as usual.
Local residents have been alerted to the risk of some nuisance from dust while demolition work is underway.
Any nearby residents who wish information about the work's progress should contact Angus Council's ACCESSLine on 08452 777 778.
