Knight Acquisition Strengthens Presence In Westhill

Knight Property Group has acquired a six acre site in Westhill, Aberdeen in a deal expected to have an investment value in excess of £35 million for the firm upon completion of the development.

The site was purchased on a speculative basis from Westhill Development Company and is one of the last remaining sites available at Arnhall, Westhill.

One of Scotland’s leading developers and winner of the Developer of the Year award at the 2009 Scottish Property Awards, Knight Property Group has already enjoyed significant success to date in the Westhill area.

Knight has invested £45million in the development of the WestPoint Business Park which thus far comprises five high specification office pavilions occupied by companies including TAQA Bratani, BlueSky Business Space and Seabrokers Limited.

James Barrack managing director of Knight Property Group said: "Westhill has quickly become one of the region’s most desirable commercial locations and with the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route now approved our site occupies an ideal position.

"The land has the potential to accommodate a variety of development opportunities, including multiple office or industrial buildings or even a single property composed of office, workshop and yard space which can be custom-designed to the unique needs of the tenant.

"This has been a strategic purchase for Knight and I am very much looking forward to building on the success we have already enjoyed in the Westhill area."

Established in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1987, Knight Property Group provides a complete range of property investment and development services. The company has extensive experience in the design and build of new facilities and the refurbishment and upgrading of existing properties.
