Capita Symonds Acquires Multi-Tech Contracts Ltd

Capita Symonds has announced the acquisition of engineering consultancy Multi-Tech Contracts Ltd (Multi-Tech) for an undisclosed sum.

Multi-Tech, which has an office in Edinburgh, employs over 150 staff specialising in engineering, design and project management services to the chemical, food, petrochemical, energy, recycling and pharmaceutical sectors.

This is our third acquisition of the year and emphasises our commitment to constantly develop key parts of our business by bringing market-leading companies into the Capita Symonds fold.

Multi-Tech’s key clients include National Grid; Northern Gas Networks; Scotia Gas; Wales and West Utilities; and Cargill.

The acquisition - Capita Symonds’ sixth in the last 20 months - enables the company to further expand its offering in the process engineering sector.
