Commenting on the move, Safetynet Scotland Ltd director Craig Cooper said: "Alasdair originally worked with us part-time when he was studying for a degree in History at Aberdeen University.

"He was such an asset to the company that we were very keen to keep him on so we offered him flexible working around his studies then, when he graduated, he became our account manager."

Craig added: "Because Safetynet Scotland Ltd is growing so quickly, we needed to have someone who can maximise potential new business whilst making sure existing customers are looking after in the best possible way and Alasdair fulfils these roles."
