Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has appointed Mr Kristofor Hall as a graduate surveyor to its Glasgow residential department.
Mr Hall, from Langside on the south side of Glasgow, graduated in civil engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University and recently completed a masters in Property Management Investment at Edinburgh Napier whilst working full-time as an estate manager for telecom-based surveying firm Mono Consultants.
Mr Hall said: "I'm delighted to be joining Shepherd's team of residential surveyors at a time when there is mounting evidence to suggest that the Home Report is helping the housing market recover from the recession. Whilst my initial focus will centre on the buoyant market on the south side, I will be valuing a range of properties throughout the city."
Martin Waite, Partner in Shepherd's Glasgow residential office, said: "I'm very pleased to be able to welcome Kristofor to our burgeoning residential team. This appointment confirms that residential activity in Glasgow is most definitely on the upswing, at least insofar as Shepherd is concerned. There are now sufficient indicators in the market to prompt us to look for growth on a positive footing."
