The award, run in partnership with the Scottish Government's Scottish Centre for Regeneration, gives regeneration projects the chance to claim the wider recognition they deserve.
The award recognises the pivotal role that a range of bodies, organisations or local groups can play in revitalising communities and neighbourhoods. The award will be presented at the CIH Scotland Annual Conference and Exhibition in March 2010.

Craig Stirrat, Chair, CIH Scotland added: "The Excellence in Regeneration Award is a great opportunity for organisations to showcase the fantastic work they are doing to regenerate some of our more deprived or run down areas. In an era or recession this work is even more vital, as it ensures people have not only good homes and neighbourhoods but also economic a nd social opportunities.
