It has emerged today that a new joint letting agent for Glasgow's Centralpoint Logistics Park, has been appointed.
Jones Lang LaSalle Industrial Team (JLL) will be responsible for the development, which is adjacent to the £330 million Maxim Office Park development on the M8 motorway near Glasgow.
Launched in November 2008, Centralpoint is the latest development at Eurocentral, providing over 423,660 sq ft of new industrial space across six buildings.
Three of the existing six buildings have been let to Wincanton Records Management, Trac International and Mentholatum.
Already, half of Centralpoint is let with the remaining three buildings ranging from 56,508 sq ft to 122,483 sq ft.
JLL will join Ryden and CBRE to manage lettings at Centralpoint which offers high quality logistics and production units at Eurocentral, which is a key strategic distribution hub in central Scotland.
According to reports today, Karen Campbell, Chief Executive of TAL CPT Land Development LLP, the developers behind both the Maxim and Centralpoint developments, said: "Jones Lang LaSalle’s Industrial team has a great wealth of industrial sector experience and we welcome them onboard to assist in securing tenants for the remaining three units.
"Centralpoint offers a secure and established distribution location with state-of-the-art industrial facilities.
"Given the financial incentives that are on offer and the motorway connectivity at Eurocentral, plus access to the vast array of retail and leisure amenities offered at Maxim, this is an attractive offer for companies requiring logistics accommodation in Scotland."
The buildings themselves are suitable for a variety of different uses ranging from distribution through to all aspects of manufacturing and assembly and it is believed that the quality of the construction, along with the fact the properties are available for immediate occupation will prove attractive to the market.
