Aberdeen-based office design and fit-out specialists ASM has scooped a major award in the Northern Star Business Awards 2009 – the flagship event of the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce.
The Bridge of Don locally-owned company, founded as a two-man operation in 1992, took the overall award in the small business category.
It also won a commendation in the socially responsible company category.
The overall award reflects a company's performance across all other categories.
ASM, which provides integrated workplace solutions services in four divisions, now has a staff of more than 60, and in recent years international assignments have included projects in Moscow, Georgia, Mauritius, Stavanger, Houston, Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore.
The Northern Star Business Awards is now in its sixth year and celebrates the achievements of businesses from across all sectors of the North-east Scotland business community.
