The Edinburgh Association of the Scottish Building Federation has won its annual golf match against the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Winning for the second year in a row they beat off some tough competition at The Royal Burgess Golfing Society, Edinburgh.

The two teams of eight swapped their hard hats for golf caps for a round of golf which saw the Edinburgh Association, captained by its President, Allan Dundas, win 3-1. The round was completed in glorious sunshine and a celebratory high tea followed.


RICS team captain Ian Parks presented Allan Dundas with the trophy.

Allan Dundas, President of the SBF's Edinburgh Association, said: "Our annual golf match is always a great event and this year was no different. Our golf skills may not be up to much but we do enjoy the camaraderie on the course and socialising with our colleagues at RICS.

"It was a good round and we’re delighted to have picked up the trophy for the second year running."
