Automatic Protection Ltd Reach CHAS Accredited Contractor Status

A Lanarkshire based company trading throughout Scotland and UK, Automatic Protection Ltd, is striving to meet accreditations in the Fire Protection Industry to provide customers the knowledge they are in safe hands utilising APL.

They have recently reached their CHAS accredited contractor status through the contractor’s health & safety assessment scheme, CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK.

It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers. APL have also just joined the FIA (Fire Industry Association) to join like minded companies who are motivated in giving their customers the best service, through design, supply, installation, maintenance and commissioning of all types of Fire protection systems.

The Fire Industry Association, or the FIA as they are more commonly known, is a not-for-profit trade association with the aim of promoting the professional status of the UK fire safety industry.

Through the FIA APL are also putting their engineers throughout various stages of training to enhance their knowledge of all Fire protection and extinguishing systems. APL are also members of construction line by providing an up-to-date register of pre-qualified suppliers for construction contracts, Constructionline is a commonsense solution that 8,000 buyers from over 2,000 organisations are already making the most of.

They are pre-qualify suppliers to government standards, and maintain relationships with a range of industry, purchasing and government partners to ensure that they remain relevant to procurement professionals within the construction industry. Automatic protection ltd are hoping that this shows existing and any potential new customers that they are reputable and safe working company. APL offer all types Fire Protection Solutions specialising in extinguishing systems.
