Bon Accord Granite is a family owned and managed business, established in 1991 and based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.  

We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of high quality natural stone. We provide stone for architectural building projects, landscape and street furniture.  

We offer a comprehensive service from initial client consultancy to CAD design and completed manufacture,maintaining an excellent reputation for adherence to timescales, attention to detail and craftsmanship.  

UK granite quarries are no longer viable and fail to compete with the world market quarries and the consumer demand for high quality affordable building stone.    

Today, we source our granite from Asia and Europe. We have built established International trade links over decades in the industry.  This enables us to offer an endless variety of CE certified granite products. Our knowledge and experience ensures our clients receive the best service and variety of products available.

Architectural
Granite is one of the oldest building materials and stands the test of time.

Tremendous advances have been made in the use of steel and concrete in the construction of large buildings in the last 50 years and this has led to an increased demand for natural stone as a facing material.

The granite industry has recognised this and reacted to the changes over the last few decades and with substantial economies of scale has achieved reductions in production costs.

Interiors
The natural beauty and unique finishes available in granite ensures that it’s high on the list of preferred materials by every experienced Architect and Designer.

Sculpture
We have supplied and erected many natural stone sculptures in collaboration with Doug Cocker, one of Britain’s finest and most respected contemporary Sculptors. We have also worked with the Sculptor Michael Visocchi. Both sculptors are based in Scotland and they and we together welcome all new enquiries.

Craftsmanship
The years of learning the skills and techniques are invaluable. Advances in technology are welcome but nothing compares to the eye and hand work of an experienced craftsman. Granite is the hardest of stones and very difficult to carve and shape.
