Underfloor insulation

1. We install a variety of Underfloor Insulation products including Knauf Omnifit, Indinature Hemp, Sisalwool, SteicoFlex Woodfibre and Rockwool.

2. We insulate between your floor joists to eliminate problem draughts and minimise heat loss

3. We can usually access the crawlspace from a small hatch to carry out the work from below the floor. We can also lift the floor and do the work from above.

4. We secure the materials with a support netting or breathable membrane in order to prevent any movement of the insulation over the long term.

Loft insulation
1. We install 300mm of Knauf Earthwool loft insulation as standard to lock the heat into your home and prevent it escaping into your loft space. We can also install Hemp or Woodfibre insulation instead of mineral wool.

2. We install one layer of 150mm between loft joists and another 150mm layer which is cross laid perpendicular to the joists to eliminate any thermal bridge through the joists themselves.

3. We can also insulate any water tanks or pipe work in the loft that are still in use as well as insulate and draught proof any loft hatches.

4. We can also install raised loft flooring, loft ladders and drop down access hatches to offer additional storage space which accomodates the additional thickness of insulation material.

Room In Roof Insulation
What We Do
1. We can retrofit poorly insulated loft conversions and dormer windows to get them up to todays standard

2. We install high performace PIR Insulation in between the rafters with an additional air tightness layer of Superfoil over the top

3. We then fit battens, plasterboard and plaster the freshly boarded areas so it is ready to paint

4. All the residual loft sections are fully insulated with earthwool and an additional layer of breathable superfoil insulation is fit behind the stud walls

Internal Wall Insulation
1. We can install a variety of Internal Wall Insulation products depending on your budget and construction type.

2. Lath and plaster walls will have to be stripped and a lime plaster parge coat applied before the insulation system in installed

3. Electrical sockets and radiator pipes will be extended as required to accommodate the additional insulation thickness

4. We specialise in vapour permeable insulation systems designed specifically for traditional sandstone buildings

Cavity Wall Insulation
We will carry out an initial site survey using a borescope to check the condition inside the walls to ascertain if there is any existing insulation or debris that needs removed
