Why Choose Solar Energy
Due to the consistent amount of sun that the earth receives, solar energy is one of the most efficient sources of renewable energy. Solar energy is currently the fastest-growing renewable energy source thanks to the constantly developing technologies that are currently being developed.

Here are the top 7 reasons to Choose Solar PV

  • Saves you money on your electric bills

  • Cleaner environment and cuts your carbon footprint

  • Increases home value

  • Long-term investment

  • Increases energy independence

  • Highly durable and easy to maintain

  • It is a renewable source of energy

Our Services

Solar Panels
Solar PV cells are nestled between layers of semi-conducting material, usually silicon. When light shines on them, electrons are knocked loose, and this creates a flow of electricity.
When solar cells are combined they form solar panels, while multiple solar panels connected together form a solar array.

To ensure solar panels are exposed to as much light as possible it is best to have them installed on a south-facing roof, although east- and west-facing roofs are also suitable.

Solar panels should be pitched at an angle of between 10 and 50 degrees, with the optimum angle sitting between 30 and 40 degrees. You should also ensure there are no buildings or trees close by that could leave the panels in shade.

Most solar panels are installed on rooftops, but it is also possible to have them installed on walls or the ground, or to have solar tiles fitted. Be aware, however, that solar tile systems are less cost-effective and typically cost around twice as much as a panel system.

When solar panels are fitted, an inverter will be installed as well to convert the electricity generated from a direct current (DC) to an alternating current (AC), which is used by most home appliances.

Battery Storage
Solar Battery systems are designed to store the excess energy from your PV system. They can monitor the homes usage of electricity. The internal battery management system will automatically divert the excess energy to your battery, rather than allow it to generate back onto the grid. The battery system will then distribute the stored energy when it detects a demand in the house greater than the PV system can provide. Or when there is no PV generation, providing there is sufficient energy stored in the battery.

Hot Water Diverter
A hot water diverter is a simple device that monitors when power from a Solar PV install is sent back to the grid.

When the home consumption is insufficient to use all of the generated power from the solar generation, the surplus power. is returned to the grid. For Example, your Solar generates 1kw of power, but the home only uses 500w there is a surplus of 500w.

The hot water diverter will turn on the immersion heater and use the surplus power to heat your water.

We currently use two types of hot water diverters currently, the Solar iboost and the Eddi. We have carefully selected these as our two options, the iboost is our more economical option and the Eddi is our premium option.
