About Green Home Systems

We are passionate about saving energy
Our mission is to eradicate fuel poverty and end climate change by making our communities energy efficient and carbon neutral, and we do this by creating warm, healthy, and happy homes.

We are a leading provider of energy efficiency services including thermal insulation, smart heating systems, renewable energy technologies and electric vehicle charge points.

Energy efficiency specialists
We are a fully accredited energy efficiency specialist holding multiple industry qualifications, and provide a wide range of services including thermal insulation, smart heating systems, renewable energy technologies and electric vehicle charge points.

We have the knowhow to complete technical surveys and energy assessments, and then explain what they mean in a simple way so that you can understand how to improve your property, save money, and reduce your carbon footprint.

Our vision is to create a zero-carbon fuel wealthy world.
A world with no carbon emissions and an abundance of cheap energy that is freely available to all.

Net Zero Emissions
The UK Government has set a climate change target date of 2050 to achieve net-zero emissions across all greenhouse gases, with the Scottish Government setting its own world-leading target of 2045.

Our transition to a country of net-zero emissions will be for the benefit of our environment, our people, and our prosperity, and our contribution to climate change will end, definitively, within one generation.

Air Source Heat Pumps
Air source heat pumps are an ideal way to heat your home in a green way.

By generating your own heat you can lower your carbon footprint and save money on your energy bills. An air source heat pump works by taking heat from the outside air and feeding it into the central heating system. Heat from the outside air is absorbed into a fluid which is then boosted to a higher temperature and transferred to the heating and hot water systems. Air-to-water pumps feed heat into a wet central heating system, whereas air-to-air pumps feed heat into fans.

Solar PV
Solar panels capture energy from the sun and convert it into electricity that you can use in your home.
By installing solar panels – also known as solar photovoltaics (PV) – you can generate your own renewable electricity with little running costs and carbon emissions.

Solar panels are made from layers of semi-conducting material that creates a flow of electricity when light shines on it. They don’t need direct sunlight and can work on cloudy days, and are normally grouped together into an array that comes in various shapes and sizes that can be fitted directly on to your roof or on the ground.

EV Charging
Harness the power of home charging with an electric vehicle charge point.

Offering a wide range of EV charge points
We offer a wide range of EV charge points that are suitable for home charging and compatible across all electric plug-in and hybrid vehicles. Our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality, and are designed to be user-friendly to all customers.

Energy Assessments
Understanding how your property uses energy is the first stage in being able improve it.

EPCs
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) tell you how energy efficient a building is and give it a rating from A (very efficient) to G (inefficient). They are very similar to the multi-coloured stickers on new appliances and can tell the occupier of a building how costly the energy bills are likely to be, and how much carbon dioxide will be emitted. Your EPC will include a list of recommendations for energy efficiency home improvements such as improving the lighting or insulation.

EPCs are valid for up to 10 years, and it is a legal requirement to have one produced by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) before you sell or rent your property. Our surveyors are qualified DEAs and can help with your energy assessments and EPC needs.
