Before we got this work undertaken we had a consultation with Derek from Enhanced Acoustics. Derek was very reassuring. He listened intently and answered any questions we had and explained in detail the project and what to expect. It was very helpful to know we could contact Derek throughout the project. David from Cúnas also detailed the job from start to finish. David and his team were very professional, trustworthy and pleasant to deal with. David communicated daily with us and you can see he takes great pride in his work. He is extremely thorough. We are delighted with the work that they carried out which was completed within a week. They were very respectful of our home and you cannot tell from looking that there are any changes. After the project both Derek and David made contact it is reassuring to know they are not happy until you are. Before the sound insulation upgrade we could hear everything from the neighbours e.g curtains being pulled, voices, tv, dishwasher being emptied, alarm being set and so on now we don’t hear any of that from our upgraded walls. This has made a huge difference to our lives and general wellbeing.

We were very happy in all our dealings with Enhance Acoustics and the work carried out by Cunas. During the initial site visit Derek from Enhance Acoustics and David from Cunas talked through and explained the process, the materials which would be used and the solution which best suited our home. Their genuine passion for the business they’re in is clearly evident.

Once the work began great care was first taken in protecting all the floor surfaces and covering furniture etc.... The installation of the sound proofing was fast, 2.5days and great care was again taken when cleaning up. David called out again two weeks later to inspect all the corners, skirting joints etc in case any additional last touch-ups were needed after all the plaster had dried out.

The performance of the sound insulation actually exceeded my expectations. Our neighbour who is hard of hearing has their TV blaring. Before the sound insulation we could hear word for word the dialogue coming from their TV. Now however, sitting in absolute silence in our room (which would never realistically happen) we can hear nothing.

The sound insulation is not cheap, but as the saying goes "Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten". I know in the months and years to come, as we sit enjoying a book or a movie without the intrusion from our neighbors TV, the price we paid will indeed be forgotten.
