Matthew Donnelly Glassworks

Matthew Donnelly Glassworks is an architectural glass studio based in the historic Courtyard Studios, in Irvine, Scotland. We specialise in the design, manufacture and conservation of stained glass and architectural glass for traditional and contemporary applications.

Matthew Donnelly has an MLitt in Fine Art Practice and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Glasgow School of Art. He has completed the Prince's Foundation's Building Craft Programme, specialising in stained glass and mosaic conservation and has an SCQF level 7 award in Leaded Glasswork.

Products and Service We run beginners workshops and evening classes in stained glass and mosaic. Matthew Donnelly is an experienced instructor with a background in teaching and has facillitated stained glass workshops for the Princes Foundation, Glasgow City Heritage Trust, GalGael Trust, Impact Arts and Glasgow Disability Alliance. He completed a postgraduate studio teaching course at Glasgow School of Art and is a member of the PVG scheme.
