Reviews & Testimonials for New Carden Roofing
Quoted £140 to repair gutter joints front and back, based on photos I sent showing the exact issue. He mentioned on the phone the gutters would probably need cleaning too — already factored in before he quoted.
On the day, he called mid-job demanding more money because the gutters were “filthy” and covered in bird mess. They’d been cleaned by hand months earlier, and as a professional I’d expect this to be anticipated and priced for, not a reason to hike costs mid-job.
When I refused to pay more, he called me a “clown” and left the job unfinished: gutter joint left disconnected, removed parts dumped in my garden, a roof tile chipped, and debris left on my conservatory roof.
Left with an active leak, I had to pay another contractor to fix everything. Would not recommend — unreliable pricing, unfinished work, damage left behind, unprofessional conduct
