Robot UK T/A Robot Underfloor Heating was setup in Inverness by Robot-vloerverwarming Netherlands as a direct Robot entity.

Robot vloerverwarming B.V. has been a producer of underfloor heating manifolds since 1988. Since the company's foundation, a great number of innovative developments have taken place. The manifolds we produce are of very high quality and very compact, thanks to the specially designed composite pump housing.

What we do
We offer supply, design & installation of underfloor heating systems. Each of our underfloor heating systems will included a full colour cad drawing showing zone layouts, manifold position as well as room stat positions.

All underfloor heating system will also include the required wiring diagram for the room stats and wiring centre provided.

What is Underfloor Heating?​
The heat produced from Underfloor heating or wall heating comprises of 70% radiant Heat and 30% convection heat. Conventional systems mainly provide convection heat which circulates through the air that surrounds objects in a building. Radiant heat, heats objects & the general fabric of the building, including people, just like the sun heats objects on the earth's surface.

Underfloor heating eliminates uncomfortable hot or cold air flows around a room and gives even comfortable heating. The warmest part of the room is next to the floor, not the ceiling. Floor heating is as close as you can get to the ideal heating curve.

Underfloor heating controls

Robot RCE
The RCE is a Robot Room Control system. The RCE consists of a room thermostat and receiving unit, which can be connected wireless or hard-wired. The receiver is available in 1 channel or 8 channel. The receiver with 1 channel communicates with 1 thermostat. Receivers with 8 channels can communicate with 1 to 8 thermostats. The system has several intelligent functions, like an adaptive/self learning weekly program, a holiday function, the possibility to connect external sensors, external temperature control via GSM-switch and more.

Danfoss Controls
As well as our Robot RCE controls we also off a danfoss option. All of our danfoss systems come with a dual channel clock, hard wired room stat, snf room stats with air sensors for bathrooms. These are also available as BMS standard for commercial use, i.e. schools, colleges, local authority etc.

The standard danfoss wiring center FH-WC is an eight zone floor heating wiring centre for use in systems having hard wired room thermostats. In addition to providing a structured wiring system for zone thermostats and associated thermal actuators, the FH-WC also incorporates two voltage free heat demand relays that are activated when one or more zones call for heat.
