Founded in 1986 and operating one crane, we steadily established a loyal customer base. We opened our office in Dumbarton in 1994 and in 1999 changed our name to Caledonia Crane & Plant Hire Ltd.

In 2021 we added a satellite depot in Bellshill to allow easier access to the M74 & M8 motorway network.

We offer a variety of cranes from 7Te to 130Te capacity on CPA Crane Hire or Contract Lift Basis. We also supply Appointed Persons, Crane Supervisors and Slingers.

Caledonia Crane & Plant Hire offer crane hire on a CPA Crane Hire or CPA Contract Lift Basis, unsure what you require … just ask.

We currently operate cranes from 7Te capacity to 130Te capacity.
We also offer Appointed Person, Crane Supervisors and Slingers for hire.
We offer free on site surveys within 50 mile radius.
