Windowcraft

A brief run down on Windowcraft:

Windowcraft was formed in the summer of 1996 by proprietor Garry Dickson. Garry has been in the window industry now for 35 years having previously worked for a national window firm and a regional company.

Windowcraft is a family business with wife Jackie; they took on their first installer 8 weeks after forming and have now grown to having 4 installation vans, 2 diggers, tipping trailers and a pick up with various plant for conservatory work.

They have branches in Orkney, Caithness and a store in Inverness installing mainly in the north of Scotland but have been as far afield as south London, employing only the best craftsmen paid by the hour not per window, ensuring the customer gets the highest quality job not rushed because of a bonus.

Garry, having been 35 years in the industry knows to choose only the best materials and with good fitters, receives no end of letters from delighted customers commenting on how much warmer their home is, how clean and tidy the installers were and often passing our name on to neighbours and friends.

Lately green and high insulation factor products are being asked for more and more and Windowcraft are leading the way, able to supply windows and doors incorporating low lead factor glass, Argon filled units, Warm Edge sealed units, 28mm wide glazing etc.

A shrewd business man, Garry has worked very hard over the years to negotiate great terms with various suppliers for their high quality windows, doors, conservatories, Facias and Soffits etc which has resulted in Windowcraft supplying PVCu products direct to many trade businesses from Orkney to Aberdeen.
