Building Contractors William Skinner & Son Appoint Renewable Energy Manager

Building contractors William Skinner & Son based in Cambridge and Ayr have appointed Sandeep Mohan as their Renewable Energy Manager.

Sandeep, who is 42, graduated in Polymer Science and Technology at Manchester Polytechnic (BSc) and Loughborough University (MSc) and then spent 16 years in the manufacturing industry, including 12 months in the USA, before deciding to move into the renewable energy sector.

William Skinner & Son chairman John Quinton said: "One of the big problems slowing the introduction of Renewable Energy Systems is the need for clients to understand the options available to them and to be able to compare and contrast their relative effectiveness, efficiency and cost. The right solution will be both site and use sensitive, and might be a mix of different technologies.

"To help clients to understand what will best meet their specific needs, William Skinner & Son offer a free, independent survey based on their practical experience of what works in any particular situation and what does not. Homeowners and commercial organisations who have already taken advantage of this offer commend it as the right approach, and value it as an aid to their decision making."

The service is now available from the Northern office to anyone in Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway or Glasgow, and from the Southern office to anyone in the counties of Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.

And John Quinton warmly welcomed Sandeep Mohan's appointment as Renewable Energy Manager: "Sandeep's appointment gives us the extra resource at senior level that we have needed to drive our Survey initiative forward and to support the rapid growth of our Renewable Energy Division."
