Councillors are expected to meet next week to discuss the proposals.
The environment committee will look at plans to create a small community allotment garden in the area, while improvements to the general layout of the site and security work at the allotments would also be carried out. Around £29,000 is being invested in the scheme.

If approved, the community garden would be in addition to those already secured in Douglas, Kirkton and Lochee.
Councillor Craig Melville, Environment Convener, said: "It's great to see people in Ancrum being inspired by those in neighbouring areas. The Douglas project is well underway and it just shows what can be achieved when communities and the council work together.
"Community growing has shown positive results elsewhere in Scotland and I am keen that people in Dundee get the chance to enjoy positive gains from using currently unused land to grow."
