Window Companies Team Up For Energy Efficiency

A Greenock-based windows company is celebrating after an alliance was agreed to put an energy efficient glazing system in every product.

Blairs Windows, a timber window and door brand which can deliver across the UK, has teamed up with Supaseal Glass to provide Saveheat systems as standard.

A Blairs spokeswoman said: "Traditional wooden frames gives your building a classic, quality look and feel. Fitting Saveheat glazing will further enhance your property."

She said the Saveheat systems would be suitable for old and new or even listed buildings and would keep householders warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

She said: "Blairs windows work hard to retain the heat in your home during the colder months, meaning you can turn the heating down a notch or two, saving on fuel and reducing your carbon footprint. Blairs windows fitted with Saveheat systems make it easy for you to play your part in looking after the environment - install a Blairs window with a Saveheat energy-efficient glazing system and reduce your carbon footprint."

Blairs windows are now supplied with Saveheat energy efficient glazing and accredited with a Secure By Design licence.
