An engineering company that specialises in accommodation and construction has welcomed six new members of staff to its Aberdeen-based team.
A spokesman for the Aiken Group said the appointments showed the company, which had a £12m turnover last year, was growing.
Aiken Group, established 1987, employs 64 staff at its Crombie Road headquarters and has 100 personnel worldwide.
David Benzie has joined the company in the role of lead draughtsman and Pamela Gillespie in the role of CAD draughtsperson and Kenny Greig as construction engineer. Kenny Morgan is an electrical engineer, Matt Paterson a project engineer and Julie Lawtie a project administrator.
All six new employees have moved from Consafe.
Operations director Norman Mackay said: "These new members of staff will provide much needed support for current work and the many new projects which we expect to be forthcoming throughout the remainder of 2012."
