The quality of eight Scottish manufacturers has been recognised at a UK-wide conference.
They won bronze excellence accreditation at the Supply Chain 21 conference, held at SELEX Galileo in Edinburgh.
The UK-wide Supply Chain 21 conference has been running for four years.
It is delivered in Scotland by the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS).
The companies recognised - Martin Aerospace of Lanark, Axon Cable of Dunfermline, RD Taylor of Glasgow, Fasteq of Linlithgow, ZOT of Musselburgh, Plexus of Kelso, Ireland Alloys of Blantyre and Castle Precision Engineering Ltd of Glasgow - demonstrated 90% on-time delivery and quality standard of 98% or over.
Nick Shields of SMAS said seven more Scottish companies won the bronze standard this year than last year.
He said: "Companies are more and more realising the importance of achieving excellence in quality and customer satisfaction - the reputation associated with these qualities is ultimately what wins new business and contributes to growth."
