All Council tenants are invited to Midlothian Tenants Day at Dalkeith Arts Centre on Saturday 26 May. The event will run from 10am until 1pm.
This is THE event for Midlothian Council tenants to find out more about the issues which affect you:
* Welfare benefits reform
* Extra Care Housing development
* Tenant Participation
* Local neighbourhood plans
* Energy efficiency
* Registered Tenants Organisations
* The Midlothian Youth Platform
There is a panel of guest speakers including Kevin Anderson, Head of Housing and Community Safety. Tenants will have an opportunity to ask questions in a Q+A session.
Kevin Anderson said: "I’d encourage all of our tenants to come along to this free event. Senior housing staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. It’s a great opportunity for our tenants to find out more about the issues that affect them."
Lunch will be provided, and every tenant who attends will get a free ticket for our raffle. There will also be a one woman drama performance by Naomi Breeze.
Spaces are limited so we’re asking tenants to book their place in advance. To reserve a place at this event please phone Midlothian Council on 0131 271 3611 or email [email protected].
