William Lippe Architects Put Best Feet Forward

Staff at leading north east architecture and space planning firm, William Lippe Architects, have been putting their best feet forward by winning a new running challenge in Inverurie.

A team from the firm took part in the first ever Run Garioch Inverurie Business Challenge which was held as part of the recent Specsavers 10K. They recorded the fastest time for a four-person team from a local (AB51) business and were recently presented with a shield to mark the occasion.

The race was a new part of the annual Run Garioch event hosted by the Garioch Sports Centre in and around the town. This year a record 1,300 runners of all ages took part in a variety of Run Garioch challenges.

The William Lippe Architects team comprised Ross Pirie (49mins 19secs), Scott Cameron (49mins 21secs), Stuart Naysmith (53mins 6 secs) and Debbie Anderson (54mins 52 secs).

Commenting on the win, Stuart Naysmith said: "We did it as a team building event with all the staff in the office joining in the banter during training, even if they weren’t taking part! It was a great day and we were delighted to win the first ever Inverurie Business Challenge. We’ll be back next year to defend our title."

Founded in 1985, the company employs 15 staff and provides top quality, professional architectural, space planning and associated services from inception to completion to residential and commercial clients throughout Scotland. In addition to a busy portfolio of residential work, the company works across many sectors including the food industry and is delighted to be a sponsor of this year’s Taste of Grampian Food festival at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie on Saturday, June 2nd.
