Shop and office fit-out and maintenance company, AGM Group, has completed an £84,000 refurbishment contract for the main ground floor corridor of St Columba’s Senior School in Kilmacolm.
The project, which was undertaken during the summer break, included stripping out existing finishes, doors, glass panelling, flooring and electrics.
AGM Group also custom manufactured new fire rated doors, wall panelling, glazing and flooring. Structural alterations were made to increase the height of the door openings and new lintels were installed where required. As part of the finishing touches, AGM Group custom manufactured a new trophy cabinet and shelving units.
Andrew Meek, Managing Director of AMG Group, said: "This project for St Columba’s Junior School was delivered within a tight timescale but completed on time and within budget. It follows hot on the heels of work we completed recently for St Stephen’s High School and we plan to grow our education sector experience in the coming months and years."
Jennifer Wallace, Senior Depute Rector, St Columba’s School, said: "We are delighted with the standard of service provided by AGM Group. They brought a great deal of commitment and experience to the project and worked tirelessly to ensure the works were completed during the summer vacation."
