Jobs On Way At Heating Company

Delta Climate Control has announced the creation of four new jobs with more in the pipeline after winning two major contracts.

The company which is based in Ecclefechan specialises in energy efficient heating and cooling systems, such as air source heat pumps and cellar cooling systems. Two of the new positions are based in Norfolk, one in Carlisle and one at Ecclefechan.

The new appointments have more than doubled the size of the company, and Director Michael Cosham believes the expansion is set to continue.

He said: "Businesses are becoming more and more energy aware and our long experience in energy efficient heating and cooling means we are well placed to advise, install and maintain this specialist equipment.

"The recession hasn't affected us at all, in fact it’s probably helped us to grow as people are thinking much more carefully about energy costs and are exploring technology which has been around for years but which is becoming increasingly attractive and accessible.

"We were delighted to secure two major contracts in the past month, both big pub chains with around 2,500 properties.

"We expect to win more contracts like this soon as we offer a fairly unique service to this industry, so I would anticipate several more local jobs at Delta being created within the next year to help us cope with the demand," he said.
